About

the biopolis story

Project Biopolis is a student-run nonprofit (pending) dedicated to fighting inequality in STEM by providing under-served youth with quality science education.  We began as a Canyon Crest Academy Humanities Conservatory project designed to incorporate a vision of ethics and civic engagement in STEM and we strive to engage underrepresented youth with laboratory experimentation in order to ignite an early love for the natural sciences. Today, we have worked closely with over 200 elementary and middle school students through numerous events, programs, and classes.
